Paper and toner are the most used materials in the CCIB. The paper consumed has the FSC certificate (Forest Stewardship Council) which identifies that wood comes from sustainably managed forests.

The other materials used vary depending on the services purchased by the client to develop the event. Carpet, paper, food and beverages, wooden stands, signage (posters and vinils) are the main ones. The CCIB offers to its clients the possibility of choosing materials that respect sustainability criteria such as 100% recycled carpet, recyclable or reusable crockery and cutlery.

The reduction in paper and toner consumption in 2013 is due to the reduction in the CCIB's activity. This reduction is not applicable to the number of events, but to the number of delegates, the duration of the event and the number of meeting rooms and services contracted.
