The CCIB is an organisation committed with the protection of the environment.

This commitment is reflected in the environmental policy making it effective by the environmental management system implemented in accordance with ISO 14001: 2004 and the regulations Eco Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS). With this system, the Centre, not only ensures a proper management of its environmental aspects, but also works to minimize them by achieving year by year a continuous improvement in environmental management.

Main environmental impacts

The energy consumption, the waste generation and the CO2 emissions are the main environmental aspects related to the CCIB's activity.
The organisation carries out an appropriate control and management of these aspects and annually marks some objectives to reduce or mitigate their environmental impact.
Objectives

*  While defining the objectives it was taken as a references 2011 due to a similar activity in 2013.
**  The year of reference is 2010 as we estimate a similar activity in 2014.
